You certainly get your moneys worth!

Moats has created a set of very interesting characters in the multi-book series entitled the Jim and Penny series. It is almost a must to read them from the beginning and with this bargain you can have the first six novels for a very small amount from Amazon and on your Kindle. It is enjoyable reading and I know you will buy the rest after you are hooked.

I started off with a free copy of the 1st Bob Moats Jim Richards Novels, then purchased the next two, only to return them to buy this box set. Best decision ever! The books are well written, pulling you in from the first chapter. I was delighted to find someone who shared my appreciation of Palm products, and then Yorkies! These books have kept me reading into the nights, at doctor's appointments, anytime I had a minute, I would be reading. I am definitely on my way to pick up some more of the series, and love the fact that there are so many more to read! Seriously, Bob Moats writes awesome thrillers, with characters and plots that are interesting, believable and most of all, make you want to be a part of their "family"!

Great series of books!

I really enjoyed the entire series of 6 books. My mother lives in Clinton Twp, and so I am very familiar with the streets and locations that Bob writes about. His characters are warm, funny, and I feel as though I know them through Bob's writing. The story lines are good, with lots of twists and turns that kept me reading into the very small hours of the night! And he manages to bring the right amount of humor into each story. I have never been to Vegas, but after reading his adventures there, I am ready to head to Vegas and see the sights! Bob has a different style of writing, that makes you feel as if he is talking directly to the reader. Highly recommend his books!

Its claims have also overstepped the European context, suggesting that it offers historic advantages for further development of the idea of constitutionalism and world order as such.

Marsha Petrie Sue not only had the audacity to call her book TOXIC PEOPLE, the same name as my best selling book written 13 years earlier. She also did word for word copying in her book TOXIC PEOPLE. She was sued and lost in US Federal Court and lost the case and is now and will always be deemed a copyright infringer (Dr. Lillian Glass v Marsha Petrie Sue Case Number CV 09-08570-RGK (SHx). In essence she took someone else's materials and claimed it as her own.

This is the best I have read on this topic to date!
This book begins with "Since the philosophy of this book is that food irradiation needs no further justification, the wholesomeness of irradiated foods is covered from a historical perspective only" on page 12. Given the near hysteria some irresponsible advocacy groups have engaged in over this topic, perhaps more could be done in this text to counteract the bad science these groups employ. The conclusion in the food irradiation chemistry chapter states that "It is important to note that radiolytic changes that occur in food on irradiation are minimal and are no more significant than other food processing technologies". That would include cooking which creates many more profound changes in food. There are few of us that would consider going without cooking, therefore it is wise to consider this additional food safety tool.
There are many topics that receive in-depth treatment in this tome including: the differences between machine source and isotope treatments, meat and poultry irradiation, process control in facilities, irradiation of spices and minimally processed foods, and irradiation for phytosanitary purposes. Each topic is addressed by an expert in the field and contains historical data and a prognosis for the future. Each chapter has a bibliography that is a treasure in itself. The future of irradiation depends on the public's willingness to accept it. Books like this do a tremendous amount to dispel the irrational, unfounded concerns voiced by some and pave the way for widespread use.
If you read only one book about food irradiation, make it this book.
